Where to Find the Best Spots for an Adult Beverage in Walt Disney World
You may think that “drinking around the world” has always been commonplace at Disney, but did you know that Walt Disney himself wanted all parks to be “dry” (alcohol free)? Walt envisioned his parks to be a place where adults and children alike could come and enjoy entertainment, but didn’t think serving alcohol was acceptable at a place that was geared for families. Over the years, this has changed of course, and alcohol is served in all four Walt Disney World parks. Disneyland, Walt’s original park, is still alcohol free for the most part with the exception of Oga’s Cantina in Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge. When people question why we go…

Our Favorite Character Dining Restaurants in Walt Disney World
I am dreaming of the day that we can have ‘normal’ character interactions again. You know, hugging Mickey, pictures without masks, autograph books, etc. (you can keep your buffet set ups though, Disney!). How to Get the Disney Dining Reservations You Want
My family and I love to eat. Period. The food scene at Disney is one of the main reasons why we love it so much. My family and I are hard at work planning our trip for Spring Break ‘21. With the recent change of dining reservations being open only 60 days in advance of check-in (vs the 180 days it previously was), my window opened on Tuesday morning.…

Take a Girls Trip to the Magic
A lot of people think that Disney is just for kids, but they are definitely mistaken. Last year, my girlfriends and I planned a trip for May to do a long weekend down in Disney. Unfortunately, it was cancelled due to the park closures, but we are hoping to reschedule. If you have been thinking about taking a girls trip down to see the Mouse, I’m sharing some ideas I had planned in hopes to inspire your next girls weekend! Where to stay for an Adults Only Trip If I were planning a girls trip down to Disney, I would strongly consider Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. The Boardwalk is located right…

Dole Whip Inspired Protein Shake
It’s a cult favorite. No trip is complete until you have at least one these. Its one of the most popular snacks on property. You all know and love it – the Dole Whip! There is truly nothing like snacking on one of these bad boys in the dog days of summer in central Florida (or anytime, really!) The sweet pineapple flavor and cool refreshing soft serve hits the spot to fuel you for your next adventure. There are plenty of copy cat Dole Whip recipes out there, even one published from DisneyParksBlog themselves. Today, I’m bringing you a healthier alternative for your morning or afternoon pick-me-up protein shake. As…
